Our Solution

The design of RadarFind's tracking system is based on grassroots research and ongoing dialogue with hospitals. An RTLS system for the hospital environment must:

• Have full facility coverage,
• Be easy to use,
• Be easily scalable,
• Be non-disruptive to install,
• Have low hospital IT impact,
• Not interfere with other systems in the hospital,
• Permit the display of real-time device status and location,
• Interact with existing databases,
• Have a low total cost of ownership.

When hospitals are viewed as completely integrated units (rather than a series of independent departments), operational efficiency is much easier to achieve. This is because hospitals are composed of many interlocking components that must work together. Information that flows seamlessly throughout the hospital better serves the special needs of each patient.

We designed our system so it can seamlessly operate in the background and be deployed in this manner without being cost prohibitive.

Hospitals currently fail to move patients efficiently through their institutions particularly in Emergency Departments and Operating Rooms resulting in:

• Significant loss of revenue
• Failure to meet JCAHO requirements
