Michael B. Nelson – President and COO

Michael Nelson became RadarFind’s president and chief operating officer following the acquisition of RadarFind Corporation by TeleTracking Technologies, Inc.

Mr. Nelson has a proven record of leading rapidly growing companies in the development and commercialization of emerging technology. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of TeleTracking, directing strategic acquisition and business development initiatives. Previously, he was president of Injured Workers Pharmacy, a company serving patients through workers compensation insurance and specializing in drug therapy protocols for pain management. Mr. Nelson managed several other rapidly growing businesses in health insurance operations, and led an advisory management firm counseling companies in healthcare, information technologies and financial services. He also served as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Heritage Valley Health System, a community-based healthcare system of hospitals in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Nelson spent 20 years in various positions with PNC Bank Corporation in Pittsburgh culminating in his position as executive vice president of PNC’s VentureBank. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics, and a M.B.A. in marketing and finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Stephen S. Jackson – Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Jackson is a seasoned veteran of the communications industry. He has been directly involved with technology implementers as an applications specialist, development engineer, and in various customer-facing individual contributor and management roles, for over 25 years. Previous to his co-founding RadarFind, he was the CTO for Elixar, a Wi-Fi security start-up. Mr. Jackson broadened his customer oriented expertise in an R&D group at Nortel Networks. In Nortel's advanced-projects group he engaged leading university researchers to map their efforts to commercial opportunities, and added several inventions of his own. He has filed twenty-one US patent applications, and of the fourteen patents awarded to date, one is a key patent on power-over-Ethernet technology. With a keen focus on acute-care facility communications needs, Mr. Jackson has spent over a decade investigating, engineering, and deploying hierarchical networking systems for hospital facilities of all sizes.

Barbara Capone – VP of Marketing

With more than 25 years of product marketing, channel marketing and marketing communications experience, Ms. Capone has worked for both multinational IT and local start-up companies. Prior to joining RadarFind, Ms. Capone was employed with MCNC directing marketing program activities for both their R&D and network services operations. Before MCNC, Ms. Capone led channel marketing efforts for Sharp Electronics’ Business Products Division, including developing an integrated marketing package targeting hospitals. Earlier in her career, Ms. Capone was director of advertising and corporate communications for the U.S. subsidiary of Olivetti—at the time the third largest personal computer manufacturer worldwide. She holds a B.S. degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed graduate studies at Rutgers University.

Stanley "Skip" Fisher – Director of Installation and Support Services

Mr. Fisher has an extensive and unique blend of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering experience. His work history spans commercial construction to cabinet making; residential, commercial and theatrical electrical systems; software design and development; project management; support and implementation. Mr. Fisher has spent the last 25 years working in PC based software development in the areas of data management, inventory control, econometrics, and telecommunications systems. For 13 years he worked as systems analyst and project manager for the United Nations Office of Project Services designing, developing, installing, and supporting econometric data management and analysis systems around the world.

Tadd C. Torborg – Director of Firmware Engineering

Mr. Torborg brings 27 years of experience in engineering software for very small microprocessors and a broad experience in embedded processor-based digital radio telecommunications. Torborg began his career at a very successful startup, Raster Technologies, which used a firmware-based embedded microprocessor solution for workstation graphics. This was followed by five years of embedded processor design work in assembly language for inexpensive microprocessors used in a broadband multi-tiered digital communications over CATV. AM Communications brought that system to market using Mr. Torborg's firmware in 1985. Later Mr. Torborg worked as sole software embedded processor engineer on several custom control panel systems built by Termiflex for General Electric and Johnson Controls. Most recently Mr. Torborg was the senior software engineer for Adaptec designing and implementing battery backup subsystems, PCI-X and PCIe interfaces and back-panel communications for RAID hard drive subsystems. Mr. Torborg also served as founder, technical advisor, and author for a national public service digital communications over amateur radio project.

Steve Snell - Director of Hardware Engineering

Steve Snell brings more than 30 years experience in the hardware engineering industry to his position at RadarFind. Most recently, Mr. Snell spent 17 years with ICTV Inc. where he led the hardware engineering department, managing personnel and operations while also leading the development of Interactive TV technology. Prior to working at ICTV Inc., he was involved with project management and led system/product architecture design operations at several California-based technology companies.
