RadarFind Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TeleTracking Technologies, Inc., was founded in 2004 and is a private for-profit company based in Morrisville, North Carolina (Raleigh-Durahm vicinity). The company offers a unique, patented Real Time Location System (RTLS)  for tracking medical equipment and patients.

The RadarFind RTLS achieves better location accuracy than competitive real-time location technologies and is the only RTLS system that tracks the status of the equipment (in use, available or needs cleaning).

Following an extensive study, the system was designed to meet the unique requirements of the healthcare environment. RadarFind researched 58 hospitals through surveys and onsite interviews to better understand their specific needs for real time location tracking and learn about their experiences with other systems. This research was integral to developing a system that meets all hospital specifications with respect to implementing and using a healthcare RTLS.

With venture capital backing, RadarFind began actively selling the system in late 2006. After serving as a test site, Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C., was the first hospital in the nation to fully implement the RadarFind RTLS and in May 2007 the hospital was able to demonstrate substantial ROI results.

Over the next nine months, RadarFind signed contracts with five more hospitals and is working with additional hospitals throughout the country to add new elements and capabilities to its highly sophisticated RTLS.

In September 2009, RadarFind was acquired by TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. 

The RadarFind RTLS is designed and manufactured entirely in the United States. RadarFind products are protected by one or more of the following U.S. patents: #7372365, #7525432 and #7528716. Other RadarFind product patents are pending.
